Capital Improvements

Premier facilities are crucial to the strength, stability, and success of Georgia Tech Athletics. Learn more about each of the priority facility projects by clicking on the pictures below.  Gifts and commitments can be pledged, payable over 5 years, for any of these facility projects. 

Edge Center Reconstruction

Upgrades will focus on efficient use of all spaces, eliminating underutilized square footage, modernizing academic and sports medicine areas, and addressing decades-old utilities issues.

Russ Chandler Stadium - Phase II Renovations

Phase II renovations - a new grand entrance/atrium to "tell our story", improved indoor practice area, team theater, alumni locker room, club seating, and video scoreboard - will continue to support student-athletes as well as bring much-needed enhancement to the fan experience.

Basketball Locker Rooms & Team Area

The team areas for both men's & women's basketball are in critical need of upgrades including new lockers, modernized audio/visual capabilities, refreshed graphics, and improved utilities.

These enhancements and improvements will ensure that current student-athletes and staff have access to modern conveniences and capabilities, and they will also help showcase Georgia Tech's strong commitment to its basketball programs to potential recruits.
